COVER LETTER

Mr. Hayden Christensen, Publisher Contact

Writistry Productions: Writing as Ministry

467 Maple Lane

Casper, MO 55555

Dear Mr. Christensen:

I will be graduating from Biola University this May, with a degree in Christian Ministries. I am writing concerning the available position as a free-lance writer, with a specific emphasis in youth development. I heard about this job opening through the Ministry Writers seminar held in April this year at Bayside Christian University. My résumé is enclosed for your review and consideration.

I understand that Writistry Productions is not just looking for any person to fill the open position, but rather is looking for someone who is motivated and driven to perform with excellence, and is focused on keeping Christ in the center of everything they do. Through studying Christian Ministries at Biola University, I feel that I have been prepared well for this position and am able to hold these qualities. It would be a privilege to write for a company such as Writistry Productions, whose main focus is to use writing as ministry.

May I have an over-the-phone interview at your earliest convenience? You may contact me at the phone number given above. Please let me know if you should need anything else. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from Writistry Productions soon.

Sincerely,

Katelyn L. McGuire
